Sharing a big file over email is never fun and it doesn’t always work. So I’d like to share to you what I use whenever it calls for that kind of situation. Here are my top 5 best free online file storage and sharing services:
1) Dropbox (2GB Free)
The free Dropbox account comes with 2GB of space and if you need more than 2GB of space, dropbox offers Pro plans for up to 100GB.

drop.io’s free “file drop” is 100MB each. drop.io offers upgrades to 10GB and 20GB drops.

3) YouSendIt (100 MB Free)
YouSendIt offers users a way to send and receive files up to 100MB each on-demand. YouSendIt also offers pro and business accounts.

4) Pando (1GB Free)
Pando offers easy download and share top quality video and other large files/folders via email, IM and the Web. It’s 1GB Free. They also offer an upgrade to increase the download speed and share bigger files (3GB).

good list, well known hosters but some of these services are not that great anymore. i use http://www.filesaves.com right now. huge uploads and nice storage, works great.
