I met with a prospect this week that was interested in forming a strategic alliance with us and he mentioned something interested in our meeting.  He said that I feel a real positive attitude from your company and we need that in a strategic alliance.  They had recently met with another company that is in the same space we are in and he said it was like going into a funeral every time he entered their office.

That got me thinking, everyone in the company has the responsibility to be positive.  Now that does not mean being fake, I cannot stand fake people.  I think you can be real but be positive at the same time.  Are you a constant complainer?  Do you always feel that you are getting the short stick.  Positive thinking is a mind set that you have to work on constantly.  You have to think how you are acting and more importantly how your actions are affecting others in the office.

Positive attitude can be infectious, negative attitude can be cancerous.  Do you know anyone that you work with that is always positive?  Do you know anyone in your office that is negative.  My goal is to hire employees that are positive and add to our culture.  I challenge you to analyze your attitude and concentrate on being positive.  Do not be a debbie downer, especially at work.
