The Company
Canadian Footwear was established in 1932 and has grown into one of the most well-respected footwear providers in Canada. Essentially, Canadian Footwear is a “footwear pharmacist” who dispenses "medication" in the form of socks, orthotics and shoes. Expert footwear advice coupled with a great selection of footwear separates Canadian Footwear from the competition.
The Challenge
Canadian Footwear had been collecting email addresses at their retail locations for over a year. They were successful in building their customer email list, but unsure how to create a professional email campaign that would entice current subscribers to remain on their list and impress them with interesting information.
They considered do-it-yourself email tools such as Constant Contact but felt that the email templates they produced were canned and un-impressive. In addition, they wanted to work with a company that could advise them on the proper methods to comply with the Privacy Act and CanSpam Act.
The Solution
Canada’s Web Shop implemented a custom designed email campaign that looked impressive and offered the email customer list interesting information that informed them about footwear health and featured products. The email campaign runs quarterly.
The Results
The email campaign allows Canadian Footwear to keep their brand in front of customers and informs them about footwear health and their latest promotions. Our outsource solution allows Canadian Footwear to concentrate on what they do best: selling high quality footwear.
